Review of Lake Tekapo’s 75-minute stargazing tour, with a 14-inch telescope, dark-sky farmland, warm jackets, and a free night photo.

“The laser pointers were really cool and helped myself and my wife (who is visually impaired) track what the guide was talking about. He was clearly knowledge, clearly cared about stargazing and made special efforts to make sure my wife got the most out of the experience, especially with the telescope. The experience also included a high quality photo of us against the night sky, which while posted online (on Flickr) will still be gracing our wall when we return. Overall an incredible evening and well worth the money”
